As Senior Export Desk Representative at, you ensure smooth, compliant, and well-organized hardware shipments worldwide; while continuously improving processes and raising the bar on trade compliance.

Functieomschrijving

As a Senior Export & Trade Compliance Specialist, you ensure international hardware shipments run smoothly, efficiently, and fully compliant with global trade regulations. You take ownership of export and import operations from start to finish and act as the expert point of contact for process and compliance matters.

You prepare and validate export documentation, safeguard correct application of Incoterms, HS classification, origin rules, and export controls (ECCN/dual-use), and coordinate closely with forwarders and customs brokers.

You also support import formalities, develop compliant and cost-effective routing solutions, and maintain accurate, audit-ready shipment data.

In this role, you combine operational execution with analytical thinking and continuous improvement — keeping global shipments moving without compromising compliance.

You are structured, analytical, and naturally take ownership. You stay calm under pressure and enjoy solving complex logistical and compliance challenges.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in export or a comparable operational role.

  • Bachelor-level working and thinking ability.

  • Solid knowledge of export documentation, customs processes, and Incoterms.

  • Experience with HS classification, origin rules, and EU trade compliance is a strong advantage.

  • Detail-oriented and able to spot inconsistencies quickly.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Clear communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable navigating regulatory frameworks.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
