As a Commercial Finance Analyst at Ampleon, your work revolves around one important question: What are the numbers telling us, and what can we do with them?
You will analyse financial and commercial performance to understand what drives business results. Why are certain margins developing differently than expected? Which customers or products contribute most to profitability? And what do these developments mean for the commercial decisions Ampleon makes?
To answer these questions, you will dive into financial data and actively collaborate with colleagues across the organisation. You will regularly work with teams in Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance, both in Nijmegen and internationally. This will allow you to develop a deeper understanding of the business and the factors influencing its financial performance.
What will you be doing?
Analyse commercial performance, including revenue, margins, sales prices, and profitability by customer or product.
Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigate variances, and identify trends.
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial scenario analyses.
Collaborate with commercial and operational colleagues to understand the business developments behind the numbers.
Translate financial data into meaningful analyses and recommendations for management.
Contribute to improving and automating reporting, data analysis, and financial processes.
Support business cases and projects aimed at improving Ampleon's commercial and financial performance.
