As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for expanding and managing the client portfolio within the sports and play market in your designated region. Representing Schmitz Foam Products, you will sell shock-absorbing mats such as ProPlay and ProField. You will collaborate with a diverse DMU and interact with all links in the value chain: from manufacturers of artificial grass products and contractors to sports clubs, municipalities, consulting firms, and testing institutes. Together with three other Area Sales Managers and the Commercial Manager, you will form a sales team that operates globally. Due to the international nature of the role, you won’t see your direct colleagues daily, but you’ll maintain regular contact through various channels.
Your focus will be on maintaining existing relationships and further strengthening Schmitz Foam’s market-leading position. This includes promoting ProField and contributing to the success of ProPlay. You will participate in both international and local trade fairs, such as the FSB trade show in Cologne, to discover new opportunities, expand your network, and meet customers. Together with your colleagues, you will maximize the market potential. Internally, you will frequently collaborate with the Sales Office and Application Engineer to address customer inquiries effectively. No question is too complex for you – you listen to your customers’ needs and provide tailored advice.
Every month, you will attend sales meetings in the Netherlands, where you will discuss strategies and share results with the team.
